The enclosure of box-type substation is made of steel plate or alloy plate, equipped with double top cover, with good heat insulation. The high voltage side of the box is protected by load switch and current limiting fuse. When a phase fuse is blown out, the hammer of the fuse is used to make the load switch three identical time slots, so as to avoid the phase-missing operation. The load switch is required to have the ability to cut off the transfer current. The low-voltage side is protected by a load switch with a current-limiting fuse, and the high-voltage side of the American box transformer is protected by a fuse, while the load switch only switches on and off the function of high-voltage load current, with a small capacity. When a phase fuse fuses on the high voltage side, the voltage on the low voltage side will be lowered, and the plastic case automatic air switch will operate under voltage protection or over current protection, and the low voltage operation will not occur. Look from product cost, Europe type box becomes this tall. From the point of view of product price reduction space, there is still a large space for price reduction of American box transformer. On the one hand, the three-phase five-column core of American box transformer can be changed to three-phase three-column core.
